CND Creative Play ~ Flirting with Fire

CND Creative Play ~ Flirting with Fire
Magenta packed with shimmer

Here’s a beautiful shimmer polish from CND from their Creative Play series.

The formula is great and the polish applies really easily. I used two coats for my manicure and the drying time was good.

The stamp is from the stamping plate BP-L060 and I stamped with a dark blue shimmery stamping polish from Born Pretty Store.

This is the final manicure including a layer of topcoat. The photo is taken in ordinary daylight on a cloudy day.

Here is Flirting with Fire on its own. Two coats and no topcoat just yet.

These are the things I used:

I must admit that I really dig this polish. The formula is great and the colour is so me. I love the shimmer too. I haven’t been impressed with CND’s glitter polishes – the ones I’ve tried are too sheer/jelly-ish for my likings, but the last two shimmers I’ve tried are just great. So I might buy more of their shimmers and donate the glitter polishes to a more jelly-loving home.

Pahlish ~ Lestrange (Bespoke Batch)

Pahlish ~ Lestrange (Bespoke Batch)
Dark purple linear holo with blue shimmer

Lestrange is a part of “The Wizarding World” from November 2016.

The formula is a little bit tricky. The first coat really wanted to be patchy and dragging. The second coat went on like butter and covered all irregularities. The drying time was really good.

The stamp with hearts is from the stamping plate “BP-L013” and I stamped with a stamping polish from El Corazón called “Orchid”.

This is how it all ended, including topcoat.

Here’s Lestrange on its own. It’s a super pleasant purple.

Here are the two polish sisters and the stamping plate lined up for a photo.

Lestrange was limited edition and is no longer available.

Overall impression: Great polish, nice colour, a bit tricky on the first coat

CND Vinylux ~ Limeade #127

CND Vinylux ~ Limeade #127
Spring green shimmer

I got Limeade as a present from one of my good polish friends. She found it on special and bought an extra, which I ended up getting. It’s a super nice green so I was happy to receive it.

I used two easy coats for desired opacity. For a short moment I thought I was going to need three coats, but no: Two was enough. The drying time was good.

I found some cute flower sticker and attached a flower by the base of each nail. I sealed the whole thing up with topcoat, and this, dear readers, is my final manicure taken in ordinary daylight, no sun.

I really like this shade of green, it’s a very optimistic colour.

Happy thoughts go out to my polish friend – thank you so much for the present! :)
